What makes Felin Newydd Cottage so special is its superb setting, overlooking waterfalls on the Rheidol river (which are illuminated after dark) and surrounded by acres of mixed woodlands. This is an ideal spot for those seeking peace and tranquility.

Built in the 18th century as mill dwellings and stables, the cottage has been refurbished staying faithful to its traditional country character.

We have one guest bedroom at present, a twin bedded room on the ground floor which overlooks

the garden and river. This immaculately furnished and spacious en suite room has comfortable seating and is well equipped with colour television, beverage making area and refrigerator.

You could easily spend your time here exploring the immediate landscape, reading or just soaking up the atmosphere. The Rheidol Valley, a paradise for walking, fishing and bird watching, is well placed for visiting the many attractions in the Pentir Pumlumon area and only 10 minutes from the bustling university and coastal town of Aberystwyth.
